The school restaurant feeds the semi-lodgers of the two establishments and those of the primary thanks to a convention signed with the city hall of GIVET.
The pedagogical team includes 85 teachers, with an information officer for each establisment (college and secondary school).
The school weave narrows bonds with the working world thanks to twinnings "School - Entreprise". Actually, 11 twinnings are actives with the following entreprises or associations :

The school, also takes part in the acquisition and the development of new technologies :

In 1682, the small market town of Givet was surrounded by ramparts. By security, the religious transfered their establishment to the centre of Saint-Hilaire quarter (close to the actual cultural centre of the "Recollectines").
In 1881, the Higher Primary School was created. It was occupied by the German troups from 1914 to 1918 and tranformed, during this period of occupation, in a military hospital (Lazaret in German).
In 1926, on the Givet's municipal council's request, the Higher Primary School was rebaptized "Vauban School" (actually the Vauban Scolary hall).
